My computer died. It was my only access to Audition.
Oh.
Em.
Gee.
WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!?

Do you know what happened to it? Virus.. hard drive failure.. etc? <.<

Well. when I turn it on it comes up with a black screen saying "a WINDOWS file ______ has been deleted or corrupted. you can attempt to repair this by inserting the original SETUP CD and pressing "r" at the first screen.

Omg! ;=; That happened to my brothers desktop. Call a technician and they can tell you what to do over the phone if you don't want to pay for one to come in. 8D

this happens to my laptop but it usually gets fixed o-o

How many photos? I know my laptop is in getting fixed and I have like 3000 pictures of just being with my friends, then a couple thousand more with family. ;[ Really hoping I don't lose them.

I'm lovin the idea of wrinkles NOTHING is more attractive.

And lots of photos.
As in, I have photos from when I first started walking on there to my last birthday.

...There was a lot in between if you hadn't guessed!
And any of the photos that I have on my computer that are with my friends (3/4 of them) I got from someone else so I don't know how I could get them all back...

And oh wow. D: hopefully you can get them back somehow though... ask a repair shop dude if there is any way of getting the files from your harddrive because I know I did that with one of my old computers.

Im not shure if this is gonna work...but never mind...

1.Insert your Windows cd in, and restart the laptop.
2.Then, when it's initializing (When the screen is all black and there's sum text written in white) Press "R" A LOT lol... keep pressing until something shows up...follow the instructions and the missing file should be copied in yhur WINDOWS dir. If that doesn't work, call teh tech peeps :3

OMG MEL I GOT IT!!!
--> Insert teh Windows CD.
--> Restart, and spam DELETE on teh blaq screen (with white text yada yada yada).
--> It will ask youfrom what to BOOT, and you select from your CD Drive.
--> Windows installation will start (hopefully) and then follow the instructions...
--> When you're finished, chack what Service Pack you're on (Right click on My Computer, properties, and there sould be either SP1, SP2 or SP3 *SP means Service Pack*).
--> If you're on SP1, Download SP2 from Microsoft's DOWNLOAD CENTER ->http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx
--You're good to go ;3

-gulp- i inserted my windows XP CD and spammed delete...and then it came up with a blue screen with writing on it and im like k and i went through all the options till i could choose what to first boot from, i chose CD drive, i restarted and it went to the CD drive and then it did a scan thing and then its like WELCOME TO SETUP!
to set up windows CP now, press ENTER.
and im like maybe that one..
then its like to repair a windows CP installation using recovery console, press R and im like well thats what it told me to do at the very beginning...
and then it has the quit option. so i pressed r. and then it wanted me to name something and im like I DUNNO so i exited it and now i dunno what to do =.=
